Scratch Surprise<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>CAN YOU MAKE THE SCRATCH CAT DO SOMETHING SURPRISING?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this activity, you will create a new project with Scratch and explore different Scratch blocks to make the cat do something surprising!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/csfirst.withgoogle.com\/c\/cs-first\/en\/music-and-sound\/introduction-and-discovery\/program-something-unexpected.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">First watch this video!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Go to the Scratch website:&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/scratch.mit.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">http:\/\/scratch.mit.edu<\/a><\/li><li>Sign into your account.<\/li><li>Click on the \u201cCreate\u201d tab located at the top left of the browser to start a new project.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Time to explore! Try clicking on different parts of the Scratch interface to see what happens.<\/li><li>Drag and drop Scratch blocks into the scripting area.
