{"id":133,"date":"2019-06-02T18:02:53","date_gmt":"2019-06-03T01:02:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mirahan.faculty.unlv.edu\/summercode_2019\/?p=133"},"modified":"2019-06-12T08:01:14","modified_gmt":"2019-06-12T15:01:14","slug":"day-3-unit-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mirahan.faculty.unlv.edu\/summercode_2019\/class\/day-3-unit-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Day 3 Unit 1"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Unit 1 Dance Party<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will do a short exercise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>We need eight volunteers.  \u2013 four people who don\u2019t mind being bossy and four people who don\u2019t mind being bossed. <\/li><li>Create four bossy\/bossed pairs. <\/li><li>Have the bossed partner facing away from the display and the bossy partner (and the rest of the group) facing the display.<\/li><li>The bossy partner and the group gets to watch the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"video (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\/28612347\" target=\"_blank\">video<\/a>, (more <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"videos (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/28612585\" target=\"_blank\">videos<\/a>, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"videos (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\/28612800\" target=\"_blank\">videos<\/a>) but the bossed partner doesn&#8217;t get to watch. <\/li><li>The bossy partner have to describe to their partner (using only words!) how to perform the sequence of dance moves shown in the video.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>What was easy\/difficult about being the bossy partner?<\/li><li>What was easy\/difficult about being the bossed partner?<\/li><li>What was easy\/difficult about watching?<\/li><li>How does this activity relate to what we\u2019re doing with Scratch?<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"first watch this video.
