Storytelling<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will create a story about two characters that discover a surprising object! Using code, you can bring your story to life with dialogue and fun animations. What you create can express the emotion or personality of your characters, tell an interesting story, or just be silly! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"First let's watch this video.  (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/csfirst.withgoogle.com\/c\/cs-first\/en\/an-unusual-discovery\/an-unusual-discovery\/an-unusual-discovery.html\" target=\"_blank\">First let&#8217;s watch this video together. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Choose among the four adventures to set up the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/scratch.mit.edu\/projects\/276679641\/editor\" target=\"_blank\">Jungle Adventure<\/a><\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/scratch.mit.edu\/projects\/276679765\/editor\" target=\"_blank\">Basketball Adventure<\/a><\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/scratch.mit.edu\/projects\/276678130\/editor\" target=\"_blank\">Underwater Adventure<\/a><\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/scratch.mit.edu\/projects\/276679962\/editor\" target=\"_blank\">Outer space Adventure<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Add two sprites.<\/li><li>Make the sprites face each other.<\/li><li>Add a backdrop.<\/li><li>Make the sprite start the story by saying something.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are some starter phrases that can start your story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>&#8220;I wouldn&#8217;t do that if I were you.&#8221;<\/li><li>&#8220;It was brave of you to come here today.&#8221;<\/li><li>&#8220;They lied to you.&#8221;<\/li><li>&#8220;You won!&#8221;<\/li><li>&#8220;That was a dangerous move that you pulled back there.&#8221;<\/li><li>&#8216;I didn&#8217;t think you&#8217;d be here.&#8221;<\/li><li>Or come up with your own phrase!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Watch this video to see how you can continue the conversation.
