Day 2 Unit 3
Unit 3. Maze Game
Today, we are going all game development! The game you will develop is a maze game. To develop the maze game, you’re going to learn about If-then statements.
First let’s watch the video together.
Click on one of the starter projects to choose the backdrop of your Maze. Then click Remix to create and save a copy of the Maze Game starter project to your Scratch account.
- Sky Maze Starter Project
- Space Maze Starter Project
- Forest Maze Starter Project
- Snow Maze Starter Project
In the first step we will make the sprite follow the mouse pointer. To learn how to do that, we can watch the following video together.
https://csfirst.withgoogle.com/c/cs-first/en/game-design/maze-game/following-the-mouse-pointer.html
- Make the sprite follow the mouse pointer.
- Make the sprite follow the mouse pointer forever.
- Make the sprite follow the mouse pointer when the sprite is clicked.
We will continue with your maze tomorrow when you come back.
